The Morris Minor - a true icon

Known by fans as ‘loveable jellymoulds’, the Morris Minor has earned its place as a national treasure and style icon as familiar as the VW camper van or E-type Jaguar. The first British car to sell a million in the 1950s, there are an estimated 15,000 still surviving in the country. The car has an owners’ club, the MMOC, supporting a bi-monthly magazine, ‘Minor Matters’, with 60 branches nationwide and regular rallies.

The MMOC is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year on July 26th, so when better to launch our Morris Minor house sign? The sign features a classic 4-door Moggie that we managed to capture on the streets of Ryde, Isle of Wight.

Selene is offering the sign in two colourways: white background for great colour reproduction, or with a black background but printed on our silver finish aluminium. This makes the metalwork gleam, giving it an extra special touch.
